Show Facilities

Collingham Show and Ploughing Match is a fun-filled family day, opening at 9am and continuing through until approximately 5.30pm. The following facilities are available:

The Offical Show Catering is provided by Curtis of Lincoln in the bar marquee, located next to the light horse and pony rings. The bar marquee also hosts a fully licensed bar. There are numerous mobile food outlets on the showground, providing quality, local produce. The Village Green Area, located near the horticultural marquee, provides a perfect spot to have a picnic!

Toilet facilities are available at various locations on the showground. Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are also available. All toilet facilities will be clearly signposted.

First Aid

If you require first aid assistance, please visit the Newark Community First Aid (NCFA) Mobile Unit on the showground. NCFA's Mobile Unit is located next to the light horse and pony rings and will be clearly singposted.

In case of an emergency, such as a lost/found child/vulnerable adult, please visit the Welfare Point located next to the main ring. The Welfare point will be clearly signposted. Paper wristbands will be provided to all visitors with children/vulnerable adults, upon entry to the Show. Parents/Guardians will be advised to write their mobile telephone number on the inside of the wristband, for use if they become separated from one another.

Hygiene Facilities

Show animals are generally very clean but all visitors are advised to use a common sense approach towards hygiene, following animal contact. Hand sanitizers are available at the entrance/exit to all animal enclosures.

Cash Point

The nearest cash machines are located at the Lincolnshire Co-op and One-Stop Convenience Store in Collingham. Unfortunately card payment facilities are not available at the gate; only cash payments are accepted.

If assistance is needed whilst at the Show, please ask a Show Steward. Show Stewards are easily recognisable by the Collingham Show and Ploughing Match dark blue or orange high-visibility vests.

Collingham & District Agricultural Society (CDAS) endeavour to provide a safe, friendly and fun event for participants and visitors. We expect anyone visiting the Show to conduct themselves with normal common sense, respect for others and have due regard for both their own safety and that of others around them in the full knowledge that they are visiting a working, agricultural show under the generally accepted definition of such an event.
